Homewood Suites in Portland, Oregon - Hotel Photography

A quick stop at the Homewood Suites in Portland, Oregon for some hospitality photography in the Pacific Northwest. There were not many locations on the shot-list for this one, since we were only shooting the areas that the previously hired photographer had some difficulty with. See below for some nice symmetrical shots.

Homewood Suites Seattle - Hospitality Photography

Some recent hospitality photography work out of Seattle, Washington. This property was in a great location, within walking distance to all kinds of Seattle attractions. I had styling help from Roma Sumra on this one, and we enjoyed watching all the Seattle Comic-Con characters wandering the streets surrounding the building, as there was a huge event that week. Enjoy some select pictures below.

Radisson Hotel at Vancouver Airport - Hotel Photography

If you ever have a flight in and out of YVR, this is the place to stay. The Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport invited me to photograph their hotel this month, and I was happy to oblige. I was lucky to work with stylist Roma Sumra on this shoot and she helped elevate the images with her careful touch. Often I travel far afield for hospitality work, so it was a pleasure to do some hotel photography in Vancouver.

EXchange Hotel by Executive Hotels & Resorts - Hospitality Photography Vancouver

What a treat this hospitality shoot in Vancouver was. The EXchange Hotel is located in the old Vancouver Stock Exchange building downtown, first opened in 1929. Stunning guest rooms and suites greeted me when I arrived on site. Can’t recommend this property enough if you find yourself on a trip to beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Radisson Red - Portland, Oregon - Hotel Photography

Some recent hospitality photography work out of Portland, Oregon. I had the privilege to fly down to Portland to shoot the second Radisson Red in America. The design of property was vibrant and unique, and was a blast to shoot. Featured in the tile of the bathroom is one of Portland’s many public water fountains, the Benson Bubblers.

Great staff and a very tasty restaurant, the Oui Bar and Kitchen. Highly recommend if you are ever in the area.

All Good Things... + Paris End-to-End

My loyal readers (both of them) will be sad to hear that this Parisian adventure is soon coming to a close. Looks like on April 15th, I will be hopping on a plane back to Canada after nearly nine months abroad. We were hoping to make it stretch to a year. but ultimately made the tough decision that now is the time. I will be very sad to leave and already I can feel the days slipping away hour by hour. I love this place and I feel like I've still barely scratched the surface

As such, I decided to walk the city from one end of it to the other. Something I've been meaning to do for a while, so I strapped on the Nikes and went on my way. This was my route:

And these are the pictures I took:

It took me around five hours to go from coast-to-coast. A normal person who walks at a normal pace without having to stop and examine and sometimes photograph every single thing that they see could probably do it in four.
